Custom Timber Benchtops

Custom timber benchtops bring warmth, character and natural beauty into the heart of your home.
At Mooloo Timber Co., we create custom benchtops from ethically sourced local hardwoods for homes across the Gympie, Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions.

Every timber benchtop we make is unique, shaped by the natural grain, colour and story of the tree it came from. We work with beautiful Australian timber species including Spotted Gum, Ironbark, Gympie Messmate, Silver Ash, Quandong, Queensland Maple and Silky Oak, as well as other locally sourced hardwoods.

Our timbers are either salvaged or sourced from local small-scale plantations that use selective harvesting practices, helping preserve forests for generations to come. We mill our own timber onsite, which allows us to carefully select each slab and board for quality, character and suitability.
It also gives us a deeper connection to the material from tree to finished benchtop, preserving more of the timber’s natural story along the way.

Each benchtop is handmade by skilled local craftspeople and joiners in our Gympie workshop.
The result is more than just a benchtop. It is a meaningful, locally made feature that adds warmth, depth and soul to your home.

Whether you are renovating, building or creating a one-of-a-kind kitchen, bathroom, laundry or workspace, our custom timber benchtops are crafted to suit your space, your style and your story.
